The best way to get to know your new campus community is to jump in and start exploring it yourself. Goucher’s new student programs help you start connecting to your new home and provide you with the information you need as you begin your college adventure!
Mark your calendar for New Student Fall Orientation, beginning on August 17, 2024!
We are excited that you are considering Goucher College for your college experience, and new student orientation is designed to further the Goucher College mission, fostering a warm and inclusive environment for all students. The term "new student" applies to all students beginning their Goucher career in any given semester.
All first-year, transfer, and international students are required to attend new student orientation. Students have the chance to interact and connect with faculty, staff, and students; obtain departmental information related to potential majors; take certain placement tests or audition; and learn about student life opportunities. If you are involved in another experience during the program (e.g., athletics preseason, etc.) your instructor and/or coach are aware.
Again, New Student Fall Orientation begins on August 17, 2024.
